Crystal Lakes Moose & Swan Set

Here in the shade of the Quaken Aspen, A family of moose and a couple of swans find rest at the lakes. This 40 piece set can be reconfigured in as many ways as you can dream up to arrange it, while the foundational “field” pieces fit together like a puzzle. While each set of this design is similar, the handmade nature and organic process assures that no two pieces are exactly alike. The prototype set design has been thoroughly tested by kids aged two to ten, and has proven to hold attention for long periods of time. Colors were selected for harmony and sophistication, so the set can double as decor or a conversation piece in a family room or beneath a glass-top table.  Each piece is shaped, sanded, and painted or stained one at a time, then individually checked for quality. We try to make sure there aren’t any sharp corners for little fingers. All stain and paint is non-toxic and animals are carved from Alder or occasionally other hardwoods. Landscaping elements may be pine, fir, Alder, or high-grade plywood, depending on the piece and its size and orientation.
